Developing a Leadership Curriculum
This case describes a leadership integration and development
project in a fast-paced and progressive high-technology company.
The project was designed to support its rapid growth and strategic
objectives, and to institutionalize desired values and culture. A
task team of committed managers supported by a facilitator and
instructional designers defined the characteristics of the ideal
leader, operationalized values and cultural attributes, and
supervised the development of a leadership curriculum and learning
tools for the company. The performance support intervention
included compensation and recruiting tools to mold and reward
desired behaviors and assist in selection and hiring of appropriate
candidates. The training developed for the company supported rapid
integration of new managers into the Three-Five culture. [Download
