RESHAPING THE WAY WE VIEW THE WORLD
Meaningful learning encompasses many different views and
perspectives. We need to accept divergence, multiple perspectives,
and incomplete truths. We know how to design and deliver learning
programs in the workplace effectively and how to help our employees
transfer and apply their learning to their work, but we dont seem
to know a lot, nor is there a lot of literature, about the capacity
to learn. Many educators and psychologists believe that we use only
about 25 percent of our brain capacity. Sharpening our senses and
embracing creativity may help us increase our capacity to learn.
Meaningful learners are continually looking for new opportunities
to learn and grow. They are seen as people in the know because they
want to know, understand, and reshape how we view the world.
