More and more, organizations are using synchronous training platforms such as WebEx, LiveMeeting, and others to deliver live, online learning to remote groups of participants. This program, presented by ASTD in partnership with synchronous learning experts InSync Training, provides ten hours of live, online instruction along with opportunites for application. Participants will learn to maximize the engagement of remote participants and manage the logistics of facilitating synchronous learning.
Consisting of five live instructor-led two-hour online sessions, the Facilitating Synchronous Learning Certificate Program takes place from Tuesday, April 13, 2010 to Tuesday, May 11, 2010, every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. US Eastern Time.
This program is conducted in the WebEx Training Center platform with a Toll-Free teleconference for the audio component. Special software is not required. Participants only need a standard web browser and telephone to participate. Note: participants located outside the US and Canada will dial a Toll phone number to access the program and should check with their phone carrier to determine rates for calls to the US.
